When Grubser's meets Ella Fitzgerald...
Exclusive Singing Lessons for Adults in the City of London
This morning Suzie received a fabulous dinner invitation...
The card said:
"Join us for a moment in the roaring twenties with an elegant
Jazz dinner on Friday the 5th of December. Dress code: black tie.
Please RSVP before the 15th of November."
Suzie was delighted. She adored jazz so much ! Especially the classic
standards and Ella Fitzgerald... What a great evening she's going to have!
Suzie arrived at the party wearing her flapper's dress and
she was definitively ready to have a great time !
The party was amazing... Jazz musicians were playing her favourite
songs...the champagne fountain was sizzling and her best friends were
there enjoying every moment with her!
Suddenly the Jazz Band started to play "Summertime" and Suzie just
could not resist.
In an instant she got unto the stage, took command of the microphone
and started to sing...
Immediately a tense silence fell on the guests.
She could hear gasps of amazement : "Did you know she sang ? No... How
is it possible? She is astonishing !"
As the last notes of the song faded away, the room resounded with a
sudden roar of applause. Everyone ran to her asking: Why didn't you
tell us you could sing like that?"... "Where did you learn?" -- "How
long have you
studied?" -- "Who was your teacher?"
Suzie was overjoyed! She was delighted to share her passion with her friends:
"I started to sing only a couple of months ago after I discovered
Grubser's, a marvellous music academy for adults.
It's an amazing place ! I really love it !
They specialise in teaching adults who sing for their own pleasure!
I wouldn't have been able to sing like this tonight if I wouldn't have
been for Grubser's. They have been so patient with me, guiding me through
the whole process and taking my fear of the stage away!
When I started I was an absolute beginner and now I can sing my
favourite jazz standards!
