Jimmy discovered the saxophone some time ago during a trip to New York. It happened in a very special Jazz Club in the heart of Harlem... The kind of club that leaves a permanent mark on your life...
His old pal Max performed this peculiar evening. This was an evening that Jimmy would never forget...
The club was dark and smoky... Not the usual kind of place that Jimmy really enjoyed... He did not feel at ease... Suddenly he thought of how he could find his way out.
But then Max started to play... The most gorgeous tones of Jazz came out of his horn. Jimmy simply fell in love with this amazingly warm and velvety sound... This was the night when swing entered into his life...

Once he was back in London, Jimmy had one single focus in mind: It was to find a place where he could learn the sax to imitate his greatest hero of all time... Charlie Parker!
Eager to find a good teacher, Jimmy searched high and low... but no one had quite the touch that he was looking for. Then one day he saw an ad in his local paper, it was an ad about a Music Academy for Adults in the City of London, allowing adults to FREELY express themselves in a prestigious and amicable atmosphere.
WOW! Finding Grubser's was the best thing that happen to him.
The haven of his dreams, as he likes to call it !
Jimmy could not believe it ! Such an amazing music academy for adults where absolute beginners to advanced non-professional musicians are passionate about playing the saxophone for their own pleasure and enjoyment.
And all of that perfectly located at a 5 minute walk from his office in the heart of the City of London. This was absolute perfection !
To make a long story short, Jimmy is now the happiest man in the world ! He is playing his favourite jazz standards after a couple of months only. A real success without practising laborious scales or heartless exercises ! He was just lucky enough to meet one the greatest saxophone school for adults who want to study jazz in London !
Jimmy told all of his colleagues about Grubser's, telling them what joy this academy brought into his life. He says that he would recommend it to absolutely anyone who wishes to learn an instrument.
