NO ITS ACULLY A PIAGGIO APE 50CC..My son bought the Ape almost 2 years ago with the intention of customising it in some way ! However being a typical teenager it failed to come to anything. It was used as a run around on a university campus from day 1 and has stood in our driveway since Dec 2005 but as we are moving house shortly, it needs a new home.IT HAS GOT THE 2 DOORS BUT HASNT GOT THE 2 GLASS WINDOWS ON THEM DUE TO THEY GOT STOLEN BUT WILL ONLY COST ABOUT £40..And also my exust is a little blowing but not a problem..
runs & drives fine. I would describe her as being in generably good condition bearing light scratches throughout apart from slight collion damage to the O/S rear corner ( which could be repaired very easily ) as one of the images clearly shows. The red paintwork has also faded in places. It has no current MOT / Tax, but the only 2 possible causes for failure , that I can spot would be the seized wiper motor and the hand brake lever release mechanism has a fault which I can't quite get my head around ! Everything else both mechanically and electrically appear to be fine.But it hasnt got tax or mot
It has 4 forward and 4 reverse gears and as I understand it can be driven on a provisional licence at the age of 16 and costs £15 to tax. It has service history including the original purchase receipt from Reliant.
