Would you like the chance for you and your pet pooch to shine on TV? I work for the wildlife film company Aqua Vita Films based in Bristol and we want to do a TV series about the canine specialist Shaun Ellis.
Shaun’s experience of living with wolves for 2 years was filmed for Channel Five, now he’s planning to use this knowledge, in a new series, to re-tame ‘dangerous’ and ‘unruly’ dogs.
Shaun believes that problems occur when people expect “man’s best friend” to replicate human behaviour. There is a language barrier between people and dogs causing a communication breakdown. Shaun’s experience allows him to understand what a dog is thinking and interpret this to its owner and vice versa.
We are interested to hear from owners facing dog problems ranging from:
• Aggression: towards family members, towards strangers, other dogs.
• Destructive behaviour: chewing furniture, clothes, digging in the garden, scratching floors and doors.
• Killing/chasing of other animals or livestock
• Sexual behavior towards humans
• Chasing vehicles
• Fear of specific things
• Rolling around in strong smells and feces
